An important update that will affect the lodgement of Electronic Company Registrations (ECR) from 1 August 2021.
DigiCert have recently advised that from 1 August, you will no longer be able to renew G1 digital certificates which are currently used to digitally sign ECR lodgements.
You can still continue to use your existing certificate to lodge company registrations up until the expiry date of the certificate, at which time it will no longer be valid.
Update 16/09/2021
The digital certificate requirement for company registrations has been removed by ASIC.
All ASIC agents can now lodge company incorporations via CAS360 for just the ASIC fee!
