Australian address failed to pass matching rules for the Postal Address File
- V444 Address not on PAF list
- V444 Locality does not exist
- V444 Locality does not exist or requires Postcode
- V444 Multiple possible entries found please select from the following list (in this case ASIC will list addresses that closely matches the used address and that they will accept for lodgement)
The street and suburb in the address on the form is either misspelt or the street/suburb is not on the PAF (Australia Post Postal Address File) list.
The Address may be entered correctly, however, this error also indicates the restriction that ASIC has on Address formats. In these cases, CAS 360 will suggest in the validation report the formats that ASIC have deemed appropriate. If users do have issues with the suggested format, users must contact ASIC to find a resolution.
Correct the Address in CAS 360 via the Global Addresses screen. The street name, suburb and postcode must on the PAF list. Generally accepted address will be listed in the validation report but users can check for correct Suburb names and postcodes on the Australia Post Website.
If an appropriate address cannot be found from the validation report or the Australian Post Website, please contact ASIC to identify an appropriate address.
